Step 2: Configure Serial/Parallel ATA in the Award BIOS
1. Power-on the system then press <Del> to enter the main menu
of the Award BIOS.
2. Select the Integrated Peripherals submenu - “OnChip IDE
Device” section of the BIOS.
3. Set the “RAID Enable” field to “Enabled”.
4. Enable
the RAID function of the Serial/Parallel ATA drives you
want to configure as RAID.
5. Press <Esc> to return to the main menu of the BIOS setup
utility. Select “Save & Exit Setup” and press <Enter>.
6. Type <Y> and press <Enter>.
7. Reboot the system.
